  1. قرآنِ کریم · 33:33إِنَّمَا يُرِيدُ ٱللَّهُ لِيُذۡهِبَ عَنكُمُ ٱلرِّجۡسَ أَهۡلَ ٱلۡبَيۡتِ وَيُطَهِّرَكُمۡ تَطۡهِيرٗا ٣٣اے اہل بیت! اللہ تو بس یہی چاہتا ہے کہ تم سے ہر قسم کے رجس (آلودگی) کو دور رکھے اور تمہیں اس طرح پاک و پاکیزہ رکھے جس طرح پاک رکھنے کا حق ہے۔
  2. قرآنِ کریم · 42:23ذَٰلِكَ ٱلَّذِي يُبَشِّرُ ٱللَّهُ عِبَادَهُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِۗ قُل لَّآ أَسۡـَٔلُكُمۡ عَلَيۡهِ أَجۡرًا إِلَّا ٱلۡمَوَدَّةَ فِي ٱلۡقُرۡبَىٰۗ وَمَن يَقۡتَرِفۡ حَسَنَةٗ نَّزِدۡ لَهُۥ فِيهَا حُسۡنًاۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورٞ شَكُورٌ ٢٣یہ وہ بات ہے جس کی خوشخبری خدا اپنے ان بندوں کو دیتا ہے جو ایمان لائے اور نیک اعمال بھی کئے آپ(ص) کہیے کہ میں تم سے اس(تبلیغ و رسالت) پر کوئی معاوضہ نہیں مانگتا سوائے اپنے قرابتداروں کی محبت کے اورجو کوئی نیک کام کرے گا ہم اسکی نیکی میں اضافہ کردیں گے یقیناً اللہ بڑا بخشنے والا(اور) بڑا قدردان ہے۔
  3. قرآنِ کریم · 3:61فَمَنۡ حَآجَّكَ فِيهِ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ مَا جَآءَكَ مِنَ ٱلۡعِلۡمِ فَقُلۡ تَعَالَوۡاْ نَدۡعُ أَبۡنَآءَنَا وَأَبۡنَآءَكُمۡ وَنِسَآءَنَا وَنِسَآءَكُمۡ وَأَنفُسَنَا وَأَنفُسَكُمۡ ثُمَّ نَبۡتَهِلۡ فَنَجۡعَل لَّعۡنَتَ ٱللَّهِ عَلَى ٱلۡكَٰذِبِينَ ٦١(اے پیغمبر(ص)) اس معاملہ میں تمہارے پاس صحیح علم آجانے کے بعد جو آپ سے حجت بازی کرے تو آپ ان سے کہیں کہ آؤ ہم اپنے اپنے بیٹوں، اپنی اپنی عورتوں اور اپنے اپنے نفسوں کو بلائیں اور پھر مباہلہ کریں (بارگاہِ خدا میں دعا و التجا کریں) اور جھوٹوں پر خدا کی لعنت قرار دیں۔ (یعنی ہم اپنے بیٹوں کو بلائیں تم اپنے بیٹوں کو، ہم اپنی عورتوں کو بلائیں تم اپنی عورتوں کو اور ہم اپنے نفسوں کو بلائیں تم اپنے نفسوں کو پھر اللہ کے سامنے گڑگڑائیں اور جھوٹوں پر خدا کی لعنت کریں)۔
